Open beta guide
Keelworks is in open beta: everything is free for everyone while we find every place where it's wrong, confusing or missing something. Use it for your real builds, tell us what's off, and we pay ISK for what you find.
What you get
- Everything free during the beta: every Slipdock feature, for every pilot. Just log in with EVE.
- Drydock is live, the corp plan, also free during the beta. Set corp build goals (open any item, press Make corp goal), members claim parts, and the Drydock tab tracks what's delivered and who contributed what. A CEO, Director or Factory Manager sets it up for the corp. Please test it with your corp: goal boards, claims and contribution values are all fair game for bounties.
- ISK bounties for confirmed bugs (below).
- When we launch paid plans (announced in advance): everyone who used Keelworks during the beta gets a free week, and anyone with a confirmed bug report gets a free month.
Bounties
Only the first person to report a bug gets paid. Each bug pays one bounty, to the first report we receive for it. If someone reported it before you, even an hour earlier, yours counts as a duplicate: still useful, but unpaid. Check your reports in the Report a problem window to see whether yours was first.
| What | Bounty |
|---|---|
| A number that doesn't match EVE: material quantities, job cost, invention chance, build time, a price. Include a screenshot of EVE's industry window (or market) showing the right number. | 10M ISK first reporter only |
| Any other confirmed bug: something broken, an error, a wrong result, a page that misbehaves. | 2M ISK first reporter only |
| Grand prize for the pilot with the most confirmed reports when the beta ends. | An Ishtar + two free months |
The rules
- First reporter only. We go by the time each report reached us. Later reports of the same bug are marked Duplicate and aren't paid, but they still help us check a fix.
- "Confirmed" means we can reproduce it. A screenshot of EVE showing the right number makes that quick.
- Ideas and requests are very welcome but don't earn bounties (unless they uncover a bug).
- Bounties are paid in ISK, in game, to the character that sent the report. We decide what counts as confirmed, and bounties end when the beta ends or the 200M ISK bounty budget is used up.
How to report
- Log in on the planner with EVE (top right).
- When something looks wrong, click Report a problem at the top of the planner.
- Pick the kind, say what happened and what you expected, and attach a screenshot (or paste one with Ctrl+V).
The report automatically includes what you were looking at (item, facility, skills, settings and the numbers on screen), so you don't need to describe your setup. The same window shows your earlier reports and whether they've been confirmed or paid.

Test missions
Do as many as you like, in any order, or just use Keelworks for your normal builds and report what looks off. The first two find the most valuable bugs.
- Check an item you actually build. Pick something you've built recently, set up your real facility in Setup, and compare Keelworks with EVE's industry window for the same blueprint: material quantities, job cost and build time. Any difference is a bounty.
- Check a T2 invention. Pick a T2 item you invent. Compare the invention chance and the datacore quantities with EVE's industry window (Invention tab), using your real skills and decryptor.
- Check your character came through. After logging in, are your skills, blueprints (ME/TE, BPOs and BPCs) and standings right?
- Try hangar stock. Turn it on, pick your build hangar, and check "What's in this hangar" against EVE. Does the shopping list subtract the right amounts?
- Use the shopping list for real. Copy it for multibuy and paste it into EVE. Does it paste cleanly and cover everything?
- Try something big. A capital or a freighter: does the tree make sense, and does the location warning match where you can actually build it?
- Tell us what's missing. What did you expect to find that wasn't there? What would make you pay for this?
Good to know
- Market prices move. A price difference only counts if Keelworks shows a different price from the market at the same time for the same hub.
- Payments and wallet updates can take up to an hour to appear, because EVE refreshes wallet data hourly. That's EVE, not a bug.
- Figures are estimates. Always sanity-check before committing ISK.
